Tips
- Always use the best hammer you can — speed multipliers add up
- Smelt bars before forging sessions to have stock ready
- Nails and arrowheads give solid XP for low bar cost
- Smithing Contracts (level 25) are excellent for bonus XP
- Superheat (level 50) lets you smelt anywhere — great for remote mining
- Silver and gold are for jewelry (Lapidary), not combat gear
- Armor trimming is cosmetic-focused with a minor magic defense bonus
