Fishing

The first fishers cast their lines from crude hooks of bone into rivers teeming with silver. They learned the language of water — where fish gather, when they feed, how currents carry them. This ancient knowledge has been passed down through generations at every dock and riverbank in the world. The ocean yields her bounty grudgingly.
