Lore
Before there were potions, there was the cook fire. The first
adventurers survived on charred rabbit and hope. Over generations,
cooking evolved from mere survival into an art form -- the careful
balance of heat, timing, and seasoning that transforms raw flesh
into sustenance worthy of kings.
The great chefs of the realm are revered as much as any warrior.
A well-cooked meal can mean the difference between victory and
defeat, between a party that stands firm and one that falters.
The aroma of a Grand Feast Pie has been known to rally soldiers,
while a Dragon Ale can steel the nerves of even the most timid
adventurer.
Legend speaks of the Eternal Hearth, a mythical cooking range
said to imbue food with the essence of the fire itself. Many
chefs seek it. None have found it. Yet.
