The Amulet of Undying Flame holds a small, sealed glass vial at its center. Inside burns a flame — orange-white, entirely steady — that does not consume its fuel because it has no fuel. It has burned since before the questgiver was born. It will burn after. When you should die, the flame flares outward. You are healed dramatically and briefly become something death cannot touch. After, the flame dims and takes time to return to full strength. But it always returns. Some say the flame is not magic. Some say it is a piece of something's will, borrowed.
