Acidic Ooze

A bubbling mass of concentrated acid that corrodes armor on contact.

Examine

Unlike its smaller cousin the green slime, the acidic ooze has fed on enough alchemical runoff to become truly dangerous. Its body churns with visible chemical reactions, occasionally erupting in small geysers of caustic fluid. Veterans know to bring crush weapons — blades just pass through the stuff, but a good mace hit sends it splattering. Mind your armor, though. Fighters who waded in swinging have come back wearing little more than a corroded belt buckle and wounded pride.
